Got 4 of these last year, but this year so far, the foliage is almost white, and breaking off, even though I've been looking after them. Do you cut off the old foliage for new foliage to grow, as I'm sure any new shoots should have shown by now ?

Please don't tell me they are dead.

    Further to the above.

No need to answer my question. I've checked them thoroughly and they are definitely dead. I'll need to get a greenhouse or coldframes to put any replacements in during the colder weather.

Sorry to hear they were too far gone - I do hope you do better with your next attempt. :smt045

I decided to replace them with 2 each of Fuchsia 'Janie' and Buddleja 'Silver Anniversary'. Additionally, got 2 Euonymus 'Emerald Gaiety' for beside my storage/potting area, either side of my triangular slabs. Also, a Bush Fuschia 'Paula Jane' for on top of the circular garden table and a 'Gorbella' shrub in a new stone planter for the small area front grass placed on a circular cut-out in the centre filled with quartz stones.
