Hello again, B--Those colours look well together. They are doing so well for you. What kind of setting are they planted in? I have seen them at the Keukenhof here in Holland and theirs always do and look so well. Mine on the other hand look only, "OK"--some years better than others.

Sorry no one had mentioned your new avatar. It's a pretty one...well, that lily is pretty, I mean to say.

But tell more about the carriage house. Is it old or new? Can you describe it and the inside of it as well?

    Thanks kay an sjoerd,

The carriage house is a new building that Hubby an I built for me. I had so many toys , I was going to have it built by a company.
Hd said lets build it ourselves. If you help me.LOL
    Oh my

It is called carriage house cause I loved the name an Horses. Still cant find an emblem to put on it .

Actually is made frome 8x8 poles an went from there.
I must of showed it dozens of times here . Have to do it again. Inside is just a shale floor, not concrete. I park 3 atvs in there, lawn mower, lawn sweeper, rototiller, an all my tools for gardening.
Hd took advantage of puttin in his pesticides for farming in it. Must be locked up.

Anyone see a horse an carriage thing , let me know.

Bsew -- how pretty your astilbes are (astilbe is???)... Did you grow those from seeds too?

I need a lesson on gathering seeds -- starting with a bloomed out columbine (aqualegia) and some balloon flowers (Chinese bellflower, Platycodon grandiflorus) that are adorable and I'd like to have more.

Thanks daisy beans, They were plants purchased long ago. I had to try several spots to get them going. They seem to like it at the carriage door.LOL

    Now for seed collecting.
Columbines I have lots . Let them go to pods which will produce many seeds . When the pod is dried an brow it will be full of seeds. I will post mine for you to see how an when.
You will be rewarded.LOL look at me .
Let me go camera doing for you. Now
