I have planted Astilbe for a few customers. How well would Astilbe grow if they were planted in large flower pots?

All I can say is good luck with what ever you try, I was told at the garden centre they was ok with sun and they wasn't they like shade so moved them over by the fencing where it gets slight shade and they still went on me. :(

These are the colours I brought...beautiful pink and deep purple and I ended up having to shade them.

Astilbe don't like heat or being dry. I have always had the best luck with them in the shade with moist soil.
