I hope those two deer found something to eat at the end of their journey through all that snow!!
The penquins at Edinburgh Zoo are finding it hard to negotiate the ice around their swimming pool here in Scotland. Every time they try to jump out of the water they are slipping back into it as the ice is so thick. It doesn't help that the pond was built with almost vertical sides. Of course no-one expected us to have such a hard winter when the pool was built. The keepers are certainly being kept busy trying to keep the edges of their pool ice free.
