I didn't get a lot of pictures...when things are behind glass you always end up with a glare so these are some that I did get.

This is a small zoo and if I remember right, it is funded by donations...

In the second picture of the giraffe you can notice a hand on the left...they sell giraffe crackers 2 for 1 dollar and you can feed them...he was getting pretty full by the time we got there.

Those are terrific pictures. The animals all look so laid back and relaxed! Is feeding only allowed for the giraffe? I enjoy a small zoo; that way you can spend more time studying each animal. Thanks for taking me to the zoo, as I haven't been in years! :D

I really enjoyed those piccies alot. There was a bit of everything.

I think that unknown bird in picture #3 may be a Green Heron.

Nice shots Sherry. That last shot of the goose reminds me of our last trip to the Toronto Zoo. We sat down to have lunch at a picnic table and a goose took a bite out of my husbands sandwich!!

We used to feed the giraffe's at the World Wildlife Sanctuary in Goodyear, Arizona. It really tickles your hand when they eat from it but they are so gentle and no one ever got bitten.
I'll have to ask my son if he's taken his boys there. They live in Oshkosh but grandma lives near Shawano and they go in that direction often. They go to all the Green Bay Packers things.

I was gonna say Green Heron too for the bird :)

Love the pics, I love small zoos too. I went to the Beardsley Zoo in Connecticut before, I think I have pics around somewhere.

Lovely photos. I do like giraffes. They seem so gentle, and they're so special in appearance too. That zoo must be a good place for the animals, since they all seem so relaxed about everything.
