I tried aubergines for the first time this year in my poly-tunnel but the flowers droop at the stem and drop before any fruit appears. What can I do?

Are there any insect pollinators in your poly-tunnel?

Are the leaves drooping too ? Eggplant is kind of picky about temperature and moisture. Its not unusual for flowers to look like they are drooping downward but they should not be limp. Many times mine do not set fruit early in the season but as the weather stabilizes they make up for lost time and do well.

They like it hot, hot, hot. I, too wonder are there pollinators in the tunnel? is it open to the insects? I have some inside a poly house where it is hot! and they are loving it. They are doing much better than the outside plants planted next to the driveway where it is hotter than the garden. Are your plants wilted from the dry? or are you perhaps overwatering them? Mine usually droop from too much cold and wet.

I have lots of pollinators - I can only think it doesn't like the range of temperature (day/night) or I as I water every evening - may be too wet.

I would hold off on the water. Mine do best with only damp soil and about 80 degree temp or slightly above. Of course that's hard to maintain here in Texas.
