    I saw him from the window and grabbed my camera and out I went. I bet if anyone was watching they would of thought I was running from a fire....

    I saw the first and only Monarch of the year last sunday. I didn't have my camera on me and I haven't seen one since.

    Thank you everyone...

    Netty...I have my camera right by the door so I can grab it fast but I still miss a lot of shots. I had a swallowtail fly through the yard on Father's Day but we had a lot of company so I couldn't get a picture. I did see another Monarch later on when I was looking out the window but dinner was being made so I missed those shots. Hopefully your butterflys will be there soon.
