As much as I hate to admit it, summer is definitely over. Instead of sulking I have decided to try and enjoy the season.

    Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

We might actually have color like that before December this year with the cooler nights we have been having this month...no signs yet tho. :(

WOW! Autumn colors... Pricelss. I'm trying to "fit" in a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway the enjoy some color in the next couple of weekends but it's looking a little unlikely.

It's still green here, too. I haven't seen fall colors in person for many years. dooley

WOW! WOW! WOW! We don't have anything spectacular like that around here. All our trees only turn brown and yellow.

Oh boy what a treat for the eyes!! :D Most of our trees are turning too now but not with such spectacular colours as yours. Thanks for sharing all that beauty with us.

Lovely autumn colours indeed! :D We have very wet autumns and rarely get the sparkling colours on the trees. They go yellow-brown-ish instead of golden and red.

Wow those are beautiful shots. Love the autumn colors, and my favorite time of the year.

looks about the same here. Many leaves even on the ground. With the past few nites we've even had heavy frost here. Unfortantly their calling for some lite snow in a few days. Blah!
