Finally, as the evenings draw in I have more time to get things organised, so here are some of the photos taken at the Little Baddow and Danbury Horticultural Society Show Autumn 2010.

Hopefully you can see my award cards. I won a trophy for the most aggregate points in the vegetable classes for 2010 and I won the RHS Banksian Medal for the most aggregate points across the show. The children also won tropheys, Jessica for most aggregate points in the over 12's and James for the Presidents Choice - his potato man. :)

A good time was had by all as usual.

WOW Emma you certainly did well again didn't you? Many congratulations. Jessica and James are obviously following in mums footsteps with their awards too - you must be so proud of them both. :stew2:

Thanks so much for this showing, EJ. It looks like you guys did well this year again.
Your veggies looked so good and the baked things made me hungry to see.
I reckon that you are well pleased with the accomplishments of your children as well.

A BIG congratulations for the medal and trophy awards. Well done!

p.s. Did you buy so many onion sets so that you would have more to choose from for this show next year?...Hahahaha ;)

    Fantastic!
Do your shows have prize money EJ?
At our Fair we can win money. 1st prize pays $5, 2nd prize $4, and 3rd prize wins $3. It's not a lot, but if you win a few it helps pay for your day at the Fair. It's a lot of fun too :)

We do get prize money, but not enough to go on a cruise with. 50pence for a first, 30pence for a second and 20pence for a third. However, it covers our entry cost, raffle tickets and a cup of tea usually.

Congrats EJ. By the way, what's in the pie in the fourth image? I just wanted to jump into that photo.

Quiche lorraine Frank. Lashings of double cream and rich, creamy cheddar. Yum.
