After a rainy, warm fall, we had a cold snap and are enjoying the glorious colors of autumn! :stew2:

The color is absolutely gorgeous. Makes me miss Tennessee after all these years.

Beautiful pics. No...'beautiful', isn't the word, it doesn't say enough.
They are delightful to see, though.
Is that a golf course that I see there from your back yard?
    What great surroundings you have.

I once travelled through the north-eastern corner of Tenn. and visited places like Gatlingburg and a little area called "Boon's Creek", I think it was. There were some sort of metal signs which told about a character called Daniel Boon and his exploits --like killing a bear and hiding under a waterfall to escape persuing natives. I recall that the so-called 'waterfall' was so small that I doubt that I could have gotten a portion of one of my legs under it. chuckle. I guess that it wore-down with time.
Actually many states had signs like that at various places of historical importance.
    Very interesting it was.
Thanks for the posting of those supurb pics.

Those are some of the prettiest shades of autumn. Our leaves are pretty much gone in our yard, bare trees are all thats left.

Great Smoky Mountain Park is one of my favorite places. The Smokies are beautiful beyond belief. Lovely pics, Gail.
