Grass needs cutting, but it is too wet.

Your Autumn garden is beautiful. It makes me want to take a stroll through it and get a really good look at it.

Sorry, Waretrop. Post it anyway and perhaps folks can help you make it more interesting. (That sounds terribly patronising, not meant to be).
Much of this end of the garden was designed from that kitchen window so one would hope it looks good.

Winter is arriving out my kitchen window. All we see is the old apple tree a nice maple to the far left, the bird feeder that is bear and squirrel proof. No nice color leaves out there anymore.. backuyard2.jpg

We have about 15 grasses of all kinds most of them are tied up for the birds to nosh on for the next few months. In spring we will chop them down with the hedge clippers. We will take them to recycling since we are giving up the garden for the pheasants and butterflies....

That is a lovely view. I would be more than happy to look out of a window and see that. I'll bet lots of other people would too.

The other side of the coin, so to speak.
This is the view from the front of the house.

    And over the hedge.

The field is Winter Wheat, this time. It was potatoes over Summer.
The only way to see that view is to look out of the front bedroom window. We need to stand on the bed to reach it. We sleep at the back of the house where you do not get as much noise from the road.
