Despite the shyness of the fawn, you did get a good photo anyway! We have deer bounding around the place, and we share the orchard with them. They seem to prefer pears to apples! Some misguided soul asked if he could hunt our property during deer season. I politely told him we didn't allow hunting, and if I saw someone hunting, there would be a dead body, but not a deer's.
