Back from Oregon.

    Just thought that I would post a picture of a couple of pelicans. Haven't managed to get any shots of them close up on the ground, but I'll keep trying.

    Welcome back!!!

    I think I prefer to see pelicans in flight as it's something I've never seen before. :-D We can see plenty of them in nature reserves and zoos here but they're always so fat that all they can do is waddle around. :(

    Funny, I have hardly ever seen pelicans on the ground! They were plentiful when I lived at the beach in Virginia.

    I'll keep my eyes out for good pelican shots for you ;) Klamath Falls is known as "Pelican City"
    Ours are BIG and white, not dark like the coastal ones. My grandma used to say that when the pelicans came home it meant spring was here :-o Did you enjoy your Oregon trip? The Oregon coast is very beautiful and rugged. Plus, we don't have any sales tax!

    Thanks for the welcome home. I took these pictures last year Oregon Coast There are 16 other places to visit on this page also.
