Got back home late last night after a couple weeks away in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Didn't do too much super exciting but did have a very relaxing super restful time.

These guys amused me no end as they hung in the palm tree directly outside my hotel window and seemingly chased each other up and down and about during the day. I was on the Fourth floor of the hotel which put these guys in direct line of sight from my balcony.

Some were a darker duller green and the others were quite bright green. They seemed to like chasing each other and would position up and down the tree all day occasionally heading to the ground and then UP another palm.

Say Island, are those chameleons or iguanas?
That was sort of like free entertainment.

Did you see them doing "push ups" against the tree?

I believe they're iguanas. The dark coloured one wiggled and waggled the skin under his chin and head bobbed lots. He fell (maybe he jumped) out of the tree one day landing on the sidewalk immediately in front of me as I stared at the green one he then chased up the nearest palm tree.

Lots of screams from the pool one day when one of these guys came down from a tree, jumped into the pool swam across and headed off doing whatever an iguana does.

We heard a weather report where a "Falling Iguana" warning was issues for Florida because it was dipping to 40f or lower. I am glad they are not bigger!

There seemed to be two kinds - one that was bright green and smaller and then a darker duller drab olive green that seemed bigger. Not having them here I found it very interesting watching them.
