    I'd be thrilled to see a bear in person.... uhhh... as long as I was safe in a vehicle, that is. :-D

    I saw a glimpse of one at Cade's Cove. Nowhere else.

    Saw a female with a couple of cubs that were eating the berries in the trees. If you are chased I wouldn't think climbing a tree would help much.

    Wow! I'm lost for words. We've got bears in Norway but I've never seen one and am not certain I want to either.

    Now that's something we don't see crossing the roads around here that's for sure. Love the picture of the cub in the tree. Do you know what type of berries they're tucking into?
