The snow is melting. Now I have a lake as well as a few remaining snow drifts in my back yard. Actually we have water like this in the front and side yards as well.

    water running

We have lots of water running , from the snow , but not like that.. We have 3 dams full.

Guess you have to watch out for small kids in that stuff.

We had alot of snow melt here today too, but we still have lots of snow to go. Tomorrow will be +10 deg C with rain and that should take care of the rest. Go figure, Friday -10 and flurries! I will have a small lake out front soon.

Snow is pretty until the end of the winter, then it can be pretty ugly. Hope the ground dries quickly.

Thankfully mine has just about dried up. The ground is too wet to do anything but at least there isn't water standing like there was. There still some snow to melt but it has cooled off so it won't melt for awhile.

Glad to learn your yard is drying up a bit, Polly
Most of the time I fuss about having nothing but sand to garden in,
but I do have to admit, :-? whenever we have too much water
(from a hurricane or whatever), it sure does drain away quickly.
