I think these trees may be Dogwoods, but I am not sure.
Can anyone help me identify them?

Do you happen to have a closer picture of the leaves, bark and blooms Beth?

Do the flower petals have a brown tinged semi-circle notch in the edge? Dogwoods do and there are several native to Georgia.

Dogwoods have a different shape. Looks like it might be Bradford pear. If the flowers smell horrible, like cat pee, that would confirm you've spotted the giant weed.

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. I do have more pictures of the bark and leaves. I forgot that the flowers looked like that and I think the tree is a little too big to be a dogwood now that I think about it. They are just blooming all over the place and are so beautiful!!!
