Since BeeBalm is having such a banner year, especially in my yard, I thought I'd share this recipe I found online. It looks very easy and you only need 2 cups of petals, which isn't much. http://providence-acres.blogspot.com/20 ... llies.html You can also make wine, and if DH didn't pull so many out in the spring that might be good too.
Ohooo I think I just found a reason why we need to make some more space for the bee balm. My husband likes to make wine.
Cris--Sounds yummy. Thanks for sharing that with us. I bookmarked that website. Looks like one I will have to check out further.
Looks like I will be waiting a year to try it. DH has promised not to pull them when weeding next year; if, I leave the ones we have alone. He has seen a few hummingbirds eating from them... But, we are making Japanese green plum wine this week, so all is not lost!
