Donna, you are what every teacher dreams of--a pupil that surpasses the mentor! Your rolls are beautiful, couldn't be better. Those cookies aren't bad, either!
Anyone want to frost them? I really dislike frosting cookies. So I freeze them and when the kids get here for Christmas, they frost them. :-D Marlingardener - Thank you. You just made my day. Just remember you tought me.
Thanks for sharing your bread and cookies but isn't it a shame we can't sample them for you as they look as though they'd be delicious.
I have an Idea. Send the cookies up here and I will frost them. But there is no guarantee that they will make it back to you. Jerry
Yes I am with Jerry....and have you thought that they might not be really fresh at Christmas time....I think you need to post them to me immediately and bake fresher ones closer to Christmas! P.S. dont bother with the frosting it will get messed up in the post.
Hey guys I was the one who wanted to sample them first. Donna ignore the others and post them to Scotland where, I promise you, they will be very much appreciated.
Now, now folks, let's not fight over Donna's baked goods. She can send them to me and I'll deal them out fairly (two for me, none for you, one for me, zero for you). I think that's the adult way to settle this little dispute.
Well, I try not to be greedy. I would love 1 or 2 of them and I would be pleased to pick them up at your house whenever you want. OH! Better yet, I will bring the coffee and milk and just eat them there. Barb, just up North from you a bit.
Donna, I won't even try to top all these "ladies" vying for your baked goods. They look delicious, though. You did a great job.
