This is a very easy bread to make

    BEER BREAD
    3 cups self rising flour
1 can of beer (not lite beer)
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 stick real butter
Sift flour and sugar.Add beer mix with fork.Pour
into loaf pan. (pyrex works best)Bake at 350 degrees
for 45 minutes (uncovered) Pour 1/2 stick of melted butter over top.Bake for another 15 minutes.

Beer bread-now that's something hubby WILL try! He's note usually into trying new foods but anything with beer in it should be a hit!

I made this before and it is excellent. I used a dark stout and the flavor was really good. Imagine "eating gnomebrew". :)

:D It is true eating gnome brew.Dark stout would be good. You just have to try it to appreciate the goodness and no trouble kneading it and waiting for it to rise.

Beer bread, hmmm? I like bread and I like beer, would I like them mixed together? The jury's out on that one. Sure would love to try it however. I'll ask the gnomes in the village whether they can whip some up!

Thanks for the recipe Glenda, do you make it often?
