Really appreciate the effort you put into taking these photos Sjoerd. Can you tell us more about how you were able to take such great photos without disturbing your subjects?

    Thank you WARE.

    Thanks 2OF.

Thank you, FRANK--I enjoy photographing the bees. It is just a question of patience and not being afraid of getting in close to them. Bees really are not dangerous when foraging. They are only interested in nectar and/or pollen...they really do not take much notice of a hand being in the middle of the flower patch. So when I am taking foto's, I just move slowly and wait for the right angle, keeping the sun's location in mind and in this case, not having to wide a diaphragm opening. I have a camera with a tripod as well, and sometimes I use that if the flower is of equal importance to me.

Thanks EILEEN-- they do indeed have charisma.

    Thank you CHRISLE.

Thanks CHERYL--That last butterfly is a real looker, isn't it.

    Thanks GF.
