I have 2 of the tiniest hummingbird moths that visit my flowers....some of my bees are larger than they are...I couldn't get the 2 of them in one picture, but I will keep trying...

Wonderful shots!! I love the first one where you can see all the pollen on the bees hind legs. Your butterflies are lovely too and you did so well to get such great photographs of those little hummingbird hawk moths. :-D

Well Sherry.... I don't know how I missed this post. Please excuse me for not remarking on these beautiful butterflies.
You havce captured some of the lovliest specimens in North Amerika, I think.

Aside from the beauty of the bif butterflies there are those hummingbird moths. What remarkable creatures.

Thanks again for showing these...your wildlife fotos are always so enjoyable to see.

Thank you Sjoerd...I have plenty of butterflys lately and finally did see a red admiral but they seem to be camera shy... if you even try to take a picture they are gone from the yard... I hope in the next week or so that they slow down so I can try and capture their beauty..

    Sherry :-D

Good luck with those Red Admirals. I have noticed that the red admirals really like fallen fruit here, like plums and apples, especially ones that have been stepped on and are squisjhed. Perhaps you copuld lure them to you that way.

Lovely shots Sherry. I especially love the Swallowtail and the Hummingbird moth. I have seen neither one here this year.

You are so good with that camera of yours. :D We haven't got very big butterflies here, or hummingbird moths, so I really enjoy seeing photos of them.

I love seeing the hummingbird moths. We don't have them here and I really miss them and watching them on hot summer nights.
