These were all taken in the garden. You will be surprised just how many bugs etc visit your garden. Have a browse, just click Garden Bugs.

I've been surprised at what an abundance of bumble bees and other smaller bees we have this year. The honey bees aren't as plentiful, and their habits are rather surprising. I see them at the bird bath drinking constantly. It seems very unnatural. Nice seeing all the mason and metalic bees also.

Your photos are exquisite, and you nearly, but only nearly, made me admire wasps there.

There are some very colorful insects about, really neat to try to photograph them.

Wasps and bees aplenty here as well as hover flies. I've counted around six types of bees and two species of wasp so far this year. I don't bother them and they don't bother me. I even help bees to find shelter if they're caught out in a rainstorm. I know - I'm too soft hearted but we do need our bees.
