New here - in fact my first thread. With the recent isolation requirements in our country, shopping for needed supplies to get started with gardening in for the season isn't going to happen locally very much, if at all. I need things, you may need things, but I want to get some things - now that I have all of this time at home - to get going on my season. So, from your experiences, which online garden supply companies have you found to be the most trustworthy, affordable, easy to use, reliable?
Hi and Welcome. where are you located? it doesn't help to give you information for a different country than what you live in. we have members from all over the world. I generally don't order from a catalog so, I may not be much help. are you looking for supplies like potting mix and trays, seeds, tools, fertilizers or plants?
Yes, sorry. USA, Upstate NY in the Finger Lakes area. Zone 5. And yes, looking for both plants, and tools and such.
Like I said on another post ! Check ebay ! I have found many things that I could not find locally ! And as I said earlier,, check feedback ! I never buy from any seller with less than 95% excellent feedback and many previous sales !
If there is a Lowe's or Home Depot in your are they will have lots of both tools and plants and they most likely are open. Our Lowe's was very busy this morning when we went.
I regularly look at eBay, a lot of established garden suppliers use it. I've had over 300 transactions on eBay from musical instruments, through audio/visual, hardware and gardening to footwear and never had a problem. The biggest advantage of e-Bay is that it's a good price-guide for branded goods, for wherever you choose to buy.
