Best way to send cuttings in the mail?

    I am sending some red passion vine to someone, Ive only sent seeds before never plants, so whats the best way to do this?

    I would wrap it very damp papertowels, put in a zip lock baggie and then in a padded envelope.

    Inside the US right? Otherwise find out what restrictions there might be.

    Start here for restrictions on plants coming into the U.S.

    Also, the person you are mailing them to must check on what the restrictions are their own country. There are big fines in some countries against the person receiving restricted items.
    My daughter has a email friend in Australia who has had two warnings about friends sending her candy with nuts in them, one more warning results in a $250 fine against her.

    And California and a few other states have very strong restrictions so check if you are sending there.
