Bicolor bill?

    We have seen this hummingbird at one of our feeders several times. At first we thought the two colors of its bill was a trick of the light, but it shows the coloration at each of the feeders, and at any time of the day. The bill is dark/yellow/dark .Is this strange? Hummer b.jpg

    Very interesting variation. They are never still enough for me to notice. Wonder if this is a common occurrence or highly unusual.
