Just got this, from our friends in Australia who got it from a friend of theirs.

"Don't we just have THE cutest animals?!! I thought you would appreciate how cute this is... the temperatures here in Victoria have been above 44 degrees Celsius all week and they are forecasting another week of 40+ temperatures. Power is failing, trains have stopped running because tracks are buckling under the heat. It's just scorching. And it seems that the people are not the only ones suffering.

Check out these photos of a little Koala which just walked onto a back porch looking for a bit of heat relief. I filled up a bucket for it and this is what happened.....

I am amazed at the fact that he just came up to them, and even more amazed by the fact that he wanted a bath. And you're right, I'm still awwww-ing here!

The poor Australians. Not only do they have a terribly warm weather type, but up north there's flooding and the salt water crocks are being washed into the streets.

That is so cute. I don't think I could stand temperatures like that  I would probably be joining the koala in the bucket :D

He is plain adorable , poor little fella, thank goodness he found a friendly human to give him some relief, I believe that they are having trouble down under with the weather, makes me glad to be in Blighty we just don't get the extremes. Thank you for those pics they make me grin each time I look at them.
