A year ago this winter, I went trough 150 pounds of sunflower seeds and a hundred pounds of cracked corn for the birds. This past winter I only used 50 lbs. of seed and 50 lbs of corn. The difference? The neighbors cats have hung around here all winter, keeping the squirrels and chipmunks away! Bless those kittys!
1 adult and 3 kittens cost me about 1 bag of food every 2 weeks. They only got fed once a day. Now we are down to momma and 2 kittens. Don't know what happened to the third one.
