    Hi

I have tried to hunt down what this plant could be but not successful... the closest I could arrive was that it could be dieffenbachia, but they are not like the regular pics of dieffenbachia you see on the net!

Grows pretty fast too... have put photos taken in January and today in July.

Please help ID the plant... also is it time for this plant to move to a bigger pot?

    swmitra,

    Nice plant!

It looks like you have Dieffenbachia 'Sterling' :-D

As long as you have an inch or two of room between the root-ball and inside of the pot, your plant should be ok. If it's severely root-bound, just go up one pot size larger, giving it the much needed one or two inch extra space. :stew1:

    Thanks :-D

As for potting, I don't see any roots popping out of the bottom of the pot, so I guess there still is time?
