Gravity will win and Buddy will end up on the porch floor. Perhaps we need a larger table. Smaller cat is not an option.

He looks so relaxed! I can just imagine the surprised/ shocked look on his face when he starts sliding!
Cayuga, Buddy is a large cat with huge paws (my husband suspects Buddy's mama had an affair with the local bobcat). The table is about 16" in diameter. Netty, my husband is drawing up plans for a "Buddy table" that will hold the entire cat! The new table will pass as an extension of the porch, I think.
