The little Downey Woodpeckers love their seed block. It is one that it especially geared towards woodpeckers. They go for the peanuts first and then the raisins.

He's so cute! I need to get some special stuff for the woodpeckers that visit my feeders.

Get beef fat melt it down an add sunflower seeds.
    Use anything for a mold.

Put it in a hanging basket, they'll come.

Cherlad, I get ours at WalMart. You can also buy the larger cages there too. The blocks are fairly expensive, $5 for the block, but it does last 2 weeks or longer if you can keep the squirrels and chimonks out of it.
