I love it when the Orioles come...such a delight to see the beautiful colors and I can't forget the enchanting ruby throated hummingbird in our zone 4.

The hummingbird is a female/immature type...no red on the neck area.

I thought it was neat to see the neighbors house through the sugar water container....

all of these photos were taken through my window ...lighting is important.

Great pictures, nice shot of the hummer. I have not seen a Baltimore Oriole in awhile.

    Another super pictorial, Sherry.
You seem to live in such a good place to see birds.
I haven't seen you on here for awhile--hope you are fine.

I see you left out an orange for them Sherry. Do they devour very quickly?
    Wonderful shots as always!

Frank...the house finches eat more of the oranges than the Orioles do. I try to only put them out every 2 days because it has been so cool here but if we get warm weather then it will be changed daily. They eat most of the orange .

Sjoerd....I have been fine...just a few family things with my daughter having kidney problems and my Mom having issues. I have been trying to make sure I take pictures because it is relaxing to me....my way of forgetting things for a while with the beauty of nature.
