Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all. ~Emily Dickenson~ When the flowers are gone, its the beautiful birds that light up my garden. I don't have the feeders up in the summer because the squirrels and chipmunks tear up the flowers trying to get to the feeders. The birds bring great pleasure on a cold winter's day. Lovely photos! Your garden is truly colorful all year 'round. It takes a great gardener to see the winter beauty as well as the summer. Thank you for sharing your birds!
It's so nice to see all your little feathered visitors Gail. I love all their bright and cheerful colours. It certainly made me smile to see them all. :-D
Gail, Thanks for sharing the lovely Birds in your garden! So cheerful! I also love that Emily Dickenson poem segment, (it's so true) I say that to myself every morning when I'm finished with my yoga.
Aaaaw! You've got such colourful feathered friends, I turn quite green with envy. Thanks for sharing them.
