I had a blind date today. Guess who I met? Gardengirl! :-D She was on a daytrip to Hyde Hall which is just around the corner from my house, so when she arrived, she gave me a tinkle and of I went. Very exciting....my only clue was they were easy to spot as they both had green jackets on! Of course, Gardengirl had forgotten I was now a red head and was looking for a blonde! Anyhow, it was lovely to meet you Pat and Kim. A very pleasant way to spend a Sunday lunchtime. Glad the weather was good for you and I hope you didn't keep going around in circles! :-D

Isn't the Stew a wonderful place? You get to meet people you'd never meet otherwise. :D Thanks for sharing your experience.

I've met net friends from national forums, and it has been a pleasure every time. I'm also hoping to meet some Stewbies eventually.

So glad you all enjoyed your lunch together EJ. Maybe you can meet up again sometime - especially as you now know what each other looks like!! Thank goodness the weather stayed fine for you as it's been dreadful lately.
Did any of you take piccies while you were at Hyde Hall or were you too busy nattering? ;)

It certainly was great to meet Emma yesterday. We had a good long natter, of course mostly about gardening :) She is a great gal and so easy to get along with, I hope to have the opportunity of meeting up again one day.
I am at the moment sorting out my photos and will post some in the gallery later on today hopefully. Thanks once again Emma for a lovely couple of hours yesterday.
