I'll start with the Peace Lily. The only thing I have in the house that blooms. Peace Lily ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) Then outside, there's my Mom's old purple Irises. What a thrill it must be to live in a place where things begin blooming so early. They look so good, Cheryl.
Certainly a fantastic way to start off the first day of April. I love the purple iris'. Thanks for sharing!
You may think of them as squid but they are a refreshing change from the generic purple and white. When our garden center wakes up from its winter sleep I will have to look for some. Jerry
Just lovely Cheryl. I've only just planted my columbine seeds. I hope they grow well and look as beautiful as yours when they bloom.
Those are beautiful. I can only dream of my flowers blooming. Won't be until June to see some of those beauties around here. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks everyone! And yes, we have a pretty long growing season... IF summer temps (and/or lack of rain) don't kill off everything. The Columbine is a first for me. I had no clue what to expect. The label that came with it said it was a "mix" and showed purple, pinks, yellows and whites. I like what I got!
Phillip.. the Cannas blooms until at least November. And they multiply like crazy. Sure wish I could send you a boat load of them!
That colour is pretty close to my Crocosmia,..sort of tangerine/orange,..that and blue i would kill for, .
