I noticed that I haven't posted many pictures this summer. So I'll try to make up for it now with the stuff that's in bloom now. Wow, They are all so nice. You made me go out and google on allot of them to see what they are. Thanks. I learn that way.
I could just look at these piccies all night long. I especially liked the Gomphera, Clematis and Hoya...but they are all a delight to see. You have had great success this year, haven't you.
Oh, lots and lots of beautiful flowers! Like Waretrop, I had to look up some of them and I had some of them planted in my garden 4 years ago when we lived in Texas. I grew the gomphria from seed and, my, the hummingbirds and butterflies liked it.
Thanks y'all! This is about the time my garden looks the best. Here's some more. Don... I looked through my plant tags and couldn't find one for this. Maybe I put one in the ground? I'll have to check tomorrow when I get home from work.
Beautiful and so much blooming. Can I ask you where you got your cigar plant? The nursery (the only place that carrys it around here or on the internet that I can find) has the place up for sale and I am worried I will never have the cigar plant again. My Hummingbirds just love it and I hate to not have it anymore if they sell the place. I don't have room indoors to try and over winter it and our garage is too cold. I tried it years ago and it never came back. I have had it for more than 10 years in the same spot on my patio every summer. I still have a lot blooming too but I am afraid it won't be for too long after our nice weather is over. I do bring in my hibiscus tree but that is all I have room for. Thank you...
I have to say I miss the variety of flowers I had in Texas but not the heat. Your yard must be so full of color now with weather getting a little cooler and your flowers are so pretty.
Thanks Sherry. I think I got mine at a grocery store a few years ago. But I see them in the nurseries around here too. Wonder if they set seeds? I never looked before. Thanks 2ofUs... yes... it's so nice out there this time of year. I love it more than springtime.
If they do set seeds, I have never seen them. I was told no they don't but I am not sure they knew the right plant. I just might have to start ordering from some place in Texas then...thank you.
DonM... I still couldn't find a tag for that yellow flower, but it does look like the Profusion Zinnia.
