I'll start with little white flowers. The Spider Plant is really doing well this spring. cherylad, That's so nice. Isn't it wonderful to walk around the yard and see an abundance of flowers...... We are just beginning up here, of course, the reason is because they forgot to give us Winter. LOL Barb in Pa.
As many know here on the forums I have a 'thing' about white flowers. I love yours and wish they were all in my garden. Your garden must not only look good but be full of wondeful scents too. Many thanks for sharing your photographs with us.
Thanks Eileen. Either my sense of smell is not very good... or I don't have many fragrant flowers. But there's no denying the honeysuckle and jasmine's scent.
Very nice blooms. I never knew Spider Plant would bloom like that!! I used to have some in Florida and have been wanting to get another one...guess that's a certainty now. My orange Cosmos are all just about 4 inches tall so it will be a while before I see blooms.
Toni... that Spider Plant is one tough cookie. In 3 years, it's never been brought inside or protected over the winter in any way. Just hangs there under the the Camphor tree. And since it's not in my designated garden area, it tends not to get watered much. This was the first year it's bloomed. I can't wait to get some "babies" from it.
Jewell... lately, our summer looks brown and sounds crunchy! But we have been having some wonderful sunny spring days... but the old thermometer has been inching closer and closer to 90F degrees. I'm just not ready to start "melting" yet.
Hi Cheryl, nice healthy Spider Plant,..and producing a nice bloom,..i have to admit i have four of them indoors but never thought to put one outdoors,..i must do so when the weather gets more stable. I can imagine the scent of your Honeysuckle and Jasmine,..i have Honeysuckle alas no Jasmine,..someone did give me one but it died. VERY striking display of the Salvia,..and the pot looks good. Love the Cosmos,..made a note to get some,..orange in particular,..a friend might have seeds. Your Day Lilies look fantastic as does the Water Lily,..congrats on its first bloom this year,..clever Cheryl,.. standing the Papyrus with its feet in water,..love that plucked turkey.,
Thanks for the kind words Philip! I have another Spider Plant that lives outdoors. It's varigated and has started to put on babies. I should remember to take it's photo so it doesn't feel left out. I like the orange Cosmos... but if I had to do it all over again, I'd probably just stick to the pink, purple and white ones. I really do like their whispy foliage. And the Papyrus is looking very happy! There are already four new sprouts. I put some in the ground also and it has one new sprout. I need to get another one of those pot holders for the stock tank pond.That way I can add another kind of plant besides the water lilies. Oh geez... I'd better not tell the pink flamingo that you called it a plucked turkey It might just put down it's surf board and kick off it's flip-flops.

Hi Cheryl, cute little Turkey, ,..when i was visiting Utah my friends had two very tall pink Turkeys in the garden,..they are on the left of the picture,..yikes the pictures seem to be getting even smaller,..i will have to stop posting them. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
I have a friend in Wisconsin that luvs pink turkeys... I mean pink flamingos! LOL I should see if I can get another one of these and send to her.
