There was a break in the rain, so I trudged through the water to check the rain gauge (3 inches so far and more expected!). Anyhow... while I was outside, something caught my eye! What's that on the little apple tree? Darn thing is blooming!

And what's that over there? The Salmon Petite Azalea had one lone bloom.

And around by the front porch, my Mom's old Kalanchoes have been anxious too bloom.

Blooms! *drool* Kalanchoe are house plants here. We usually buy a couple in winter for the colour. Sassy Marie probably thought you spent too much time photographing the blooms. :D She's a pretty dog. :D

    Thanks Droopy, Theodoros and Gail!
I'll be sure to let Sassy Marie know that you all liked her photo. I just won't mention that you all called her a dog/pooch! She thinks she's human. :D

Thanks Philip. I think Sassy was just mad because she couldn't chase squirrels because of all the rain. ;)

Lol,..sometimes i am bewildered as to what is amiss with the dogs,..well at least Molly,..as Hudson is away with the fairies these days,..sometimes there is a spark there and i know she has returned,..for a spell,..but one has to "think dog",..to figure out the moods,..poor Sassy Marie had a squirrel less day.
