Most of my Chrysanthemum plants are just sitting there, green but no blooms. This little one has just way too much energy for this time of the year.

The Guara didn't do much during the summer except sit and roast but now it's blooming.

The Scabisoa had a rough time living through the summer too but is really liking this winterish weather. It even has a new bud forming.

Every year I think about getting an Amaryllis bulb to force indoors but just never do it. This year I did. This is the one that Spooky didn't feel needed to be on HIS window sill so he kept pushing it off, it's in the kitchen now and happy to be away from the cat.

I still have some summer plants trying to bloom now, but I just cut their bloom buds off in hopes of saving energy for next season.

That is a lovely Amaryllis you have blooming. I have two on the windowsill this year and they are still in the buds. The stems are growing like mad.

That red bloom of yours is a picture for the eye. Gorgeous to see.

so happy your sun-baked plants still have it in them to bloom for you now that it's cooler. Everytime I see and Amaryllis blooming this time of year, I say to myself "you need one of those!" And then I forget. Maybe one year I'll get one. Hopefully it'll be as pretty as yours!

Toni...very nice, how nice for you to see blooms. I miss my gardens and can only dream of them blooming again.
