Here are some shots in my yard & gardens over the past few days.

Apricot tree in bloom (way too early - no fruit this year, I'm sure!)

I love your daffodils! Shame about that apricot tree, though.

    Pretty pretty.

Daffies are so pretty and dainty. Lovely pictures.
I like the white saucers with the yellow cups.

Yes, WTD...we will ALL keep our fingers crossed for your apricots. Blooming at this early date make me nervous.
But nice fotos of your yard and daffs. The sun is nice to see for me as well.
Glendann...I can see the tiny flower buds forming at this moment, and I am holding my breath. I hope that we do not get a warm spell any time soon.

Nothing says SPRING to me quite like Daffodil's. Great pics WTxDaddy.
Crossing my fingers that you'll get some Apricot's this year.

    apricots

This is the only apricot tree, that has started to bloom. I have 2 others, which are budding, but haven't bloomed. Maybe we'll get apricots from those. Last year, we had a freeze on Easter Sunday and we ended up with no apricots, or pecans at all. We did, however, have a few peaches.

The Winter front hit last night & we dropped from 78ºF to 37ºF in about an hour. Snow is blowing around this morning & the wind is fierce. No accumulation right now. I feel sorry for the daffodils, having to endure the nasty wind.

I am home with my daughter, who officially has the flu. She's been running fever off & on since Friday evening, ranging from 100º to 103º. We took her to the pediatrician yesterday (missed church) and theytested & confirmed flu. She's now taking "Tamiflu" and fever-reducers. She's excited right now, because I told her, she gets to watch movies all day. We just finished Ice Age & she's playing the games at the end of the DVD. Next up will be Ice Age II.

There's nothing to compare with the sight of flowering daffoldils especially when their scent wafts around you.

Sorry to hear that your daughter is unwell WT I hope she'll soon be fighting fit again.

Sorry to hear your little one is ill, hope she gets to feeling better soon. Thanks for sharing the pictures, I really like the yellow and white ones too. The solid yellow ones really helped brighten my day since it's so grim outside here on the other side of the state.

    Thanks

Thanks, folks. My daughter is doing well. She started off poorly this morning, but got rather rambunctious later in the evening & has not had fever since this morning. I reckon it's just one of those things you have to endure as a parent - watching your kid be sick & feel bad. She got to watch movies & TV all day, plus a little computer fun & some crafts. Here are some of the things we made today:

I'm glad to hear she's better. Her craft is gorgeous. :D I'd love one of those cards. Great idea for an inside day.
