Blooms of winter.

    My Mediterranean heather is blooming.

    The Barberry shrub has turned a pretty red and orange.

    This shrub has real feathery leaves, but I can't remember the name of it. In summer it is pale green, but in the fall it turns yellow and pale orange. The leaves look a little like bamboo, but the stems aren't jointed.

    It's good to see some colour is still in your garden at this time of year CK.
    Sadly most of my trees are bare now and almost all of the flowers have gone. :(

    Those are attractive bushes, Capt'n. It is nice to see that heather blooming. It looks like it's pretty happy where it is.

    All of these have been in the ground for 2 years. I am keeping them trimmed low. The heather has doubled in size from when I planted them.
