I'm putting together my Christmas card. What I'd LIKE to do is have it be a photo of all the grandkids, but I can't ever get them all together all at once, as 4 of them are on the other side of the country in California.

Instead I do a ridiculous collage, or sometimes just one image, of my two little Chihuahuas. Because of my last name, they've come to be known collectively as "The McChis" and I have family and friends who look forward to my Christmas card every year so they can ridicule and poke fun at my dogs, and me for having them. :) For me, that's kind of the whole point of sending out the cards, so mission accomplished! I mean, seriously, if you can't poke fun at yourself, then what's the point, y'know?

Anyway, here are several of the bloopers/outtakes from the photo session with the dogs, which is always a complete frenzy of trying to get them to sit still together all at once and not look stupid or dorky. Takes a lot of patience and even more treats, I can assure you. :)

One of these years, I think I'm going to make a Christmas Card that is nothing but a collection of the McChi bloopers/outtakes from all the years past. :stew2:

Frank, yeah they do. Chihuahuas are goofy-looking anyway, and when you dress them up in outlandish clothes, especially when the theme is "joy" or "happy" or "merry" and the result is images much like that last one of Tango......well, the contradictions are epically funny! ;)

If you do get around to making a card of all those cute bloopers Ronni please let us see it. I love shots like this as they cheer me up even if I'm feeling down.

The last picture would make a great entry for a caption contest.

Evil Roy!!!! I'm so glad you replied.....totally off topic but I HAVE to ask:

Is there some specific reason for your sig phrase? "Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc" If I understand it correctly, it translates to something like "we will gladly feast on those who would subdue us."

I'd LOVE to know the backstory, if there is one :)
