On the "red button" news I read this morning that the BBC has awarded Captain Tom a gold Blue Peter badge for raising £33M for the NHS. Well deserved! They mentioned just three other notable recipients of this rare award. The Queen, for services to the nation. Well deserved! David Attenborough for services to wild life and conservation. Well deserved! Mary Berry..... Err.. Mary Berry? Presumably, for "services to ratings."
