We haven't had waterfowl on our pond this winter, but today four blue winged teals arrived! Perhaps the migration has started. I don't know who is happier--us or the ducks! (Sorry about the slightly blurry image, but we didn't want to get too close and scare them away).
I'm chuffed to bits for you Jane. Now your pond is complete at last!! Let's hope the migration has indeed started and that this quartet is the first of many more ducks to arrive on your property.
