I don't know if I'm doing this correctly as I am just feeling my way around this new website. I have just introduced myself and now I want to ask question about my garden. I have just recently started gardening and the area I chose for my garden so happens to be a very boggy area with lots of sunshine. I am having difficulty getting anything to grow. Any suggestions?
Hi there Nanasheila. :-D Here are a few web sites that may be of use to you as they have plenty of bog plants. http://www.burncoose.co.uk/ www.gardeningdata.co.uk/water_garden/bog_gardens.htm www.wetlandplants.co.uk/acatalog www.pitcherplant.com/bog_making.html I hope this is what you are looking for.
re: boggy areas I saw you ask about boggy areas and thought I would share what I do. Go to green manure in your search engine. I 'm not handy at this cut and paste thing. anyway planting a green manure will help build up your soil and in a couple of years it should be good to plant what ever. I am in the process of trying this and so far so good. I hope this helps. girlgoneorganic
