Hello, just thought I'd say "bonjour" (or "bonsoir" depending on your time zone).

I'm a Brit in exile across the English Channel in Brittany. Living here with my husband, two children and mad dog in an old granite house deep in the countryside.

Interests include - veg and soft fruit growing, maintaining our orchard of 40 apple trees and cutting back the brambles/wild blackberry bushes

We are currently enjoying the tail end of tropical storm Maria so I'm watching both the rain and the apples falling!

Thanks for the welcome. :) Will post some apple tree pics as soon as it stops raining!

We have "green" a-plenty here. The grass just won't stop growing.

Bonjour or bonsoir as your time is there. Welcome from Missouri, and glad to meet you. It is raining acorns and black walnuts here. We are supposed to get a lovely cool front down out of Canada in a day or two.

Welcome Bretonblue from Wisconsin. Your place sound wonderful. I love how a lot of the English villages and countryside look like there out of a story book. 40 apple trees is a full time job in itself. I also am looking forward to seeing pic's of your gardens and home. Glad you found the Stew. It's a friendly and helpful group from all over the world. :stew1:
