The Party by Elizabeth Day, excellent, interestingly written, very English, set in Cambridge and a little in London. Trying to think what genre it would be....it's hard to describe, it twists and turns, a bit thriller, a page turner.
Thank you EJ. I'll check it out. My bookclub is reading Manhattan Beach. Set during the drpression, state-side then extends into the war years. A good read.
