Hi Everyone! Greetings from the Halloween capital of the planet! LOL I am interested in learning as much as I can about local plants as I would like to eventually become a garden designer. I used to live in Florida where I was a Jr. designer/drafter for a landscape architect. I can tell you a lot about palm trees and orchids, but little about plants in the northeast. I am particularly interested in getting a diploma/certificate for garden design via a distance learning school. Anyone else here done that, or have any advice? It's very nice to be here and I hope to make some new gardening friends! Brandon
Welcome from one Salem (Oregon) to another! I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful stuff in the stew, and you'll add quite a bit yourself I'm sure.
Great to have you here with us Brandon but beware I have four orchids here in Scotland and I may be picking your brains for information very soon. WELCOME to The Stew.
Welcome to GardenStew Brandon from beautiful Sweden. I have aunts and uncles living in Massachusetts, beautiful place too. I hope someone will be able to answer your distance learning question but if not stick around anyhow, it's a fantastic community here. // Frank
