Need to ID this Bromeliad for the upcoming Plant Sale at the church.
I've googled.. but they are all starting to look alike to me.
    Anybody know this one's name?

    Thanks in advance!

Eileen... that only helped me get more confused! :D
They are all so beautiful. One of my jobs is to come up with an info sheet for each one, giving basic "how to care for" tips.
I probably will just have to give generalized info on Broms instead of just focusing on a particular species.
Now... let me go back and look at all those beauties!
Thanks for the link. You're almost as bad as Toni the Enabler :D

    Maybe this will help...aechmea miniata..
that will surely look good on the ID tag.
Remember usually the prickly ones do good in the sun and the smooth leaf ones prefer light shade.
Being pineapples and all, pines grow in full sun and the ARE prickly!

Thanks Chocolate... that certainly looks like it.
I made up a "generalized" sheet on growing Bromeliads... but wan't feeling to happy about it since, like you said, some like sun and some like shade.
Don't want to give out the wrong info!
Thanks... I'll redo their info sheets.
