Now this little fellows feet has to be really cold. And he hung there long enough for me to get several photos Gold Finch ( photo / image / picture from naturenanni's Garden )
It always amazes me how our wildlife copes with the dreadful weather conditions we get. I certainly wouldn't be hanging by my feet to an icicle that's for sure!! What a lovely shot of your gold Finch Naturenanni. I hope he has a nice, warm place to heat those tiny toes of his up.
Your photos constantly amaze me! First, you see things with a photographer's eye, and then you actually get the picture! Have you thought of publishing a book of your photos? I think it would be delightful to go through such a book on a dreary winter day and see all the colorful and beautiful birds. Perhaps you and Frank could team up and do a bird book for children. What a delightful way to introduce children to bird-watching!
Thanks everyone! I just seem to be in the right place at times Frank I have never seen it before either you should have seen me running for the camera LOL!
naturenanni, What a great shot! You've certainly got talent with your camera. The pic makes me want to put socks on!! Brrr!
Poor little bird .What a wonderful photo.I would never have thought a bird would land on such a slick place. Its a miracle it didn't slide off.
Thanks everyone! He did get cold feet and finally slipped down to the deck rail then on to the seed icecycle 2 ( photo / image / picture from naturenanni's Garden )
